ERNEST KINOY
(Book)
remains one of television’s most prolific and acclaimed writers.
Winner of three Emmy Awards,
Ernest Kinoy’s career
spans five decades. In the 1950s, he wrote live
anthology dramas like Studio One and Playhouse 90. Later
he became known for the television series
The Defenders,
Dr. Kildare and The Nurses. Tackling historical and
controversial subjects, Kinoy’s teleplays include
Roots,
Skokie, Murrow, (Gore Vidal's) Lincoln, Chernobyl: The Final Warning. His play
Something About a Soldier
is published by Samuel French and his Broadway book
credits include the musicals
BAJOUR and
GOLDEN RAINBOW. |

LEE
GOLDSMITH (Lyrics) enjoyed an early career with
National Comics scripting stories for
The Green Lantern,
Wonder Woman and The Flash. He adapted several projects
for the stage, writing book and lyrics. These include
SHEBA (based on William Inge's "Come Back Little Sheba")
with music by Clint Ballard and GOLDDIGGERS OF 1633 (based on
"School for Wives") with music by Lawrence Hurwit. His
ground-breaking musical SEXTET opened on Broadway
in 1974. Other Broadway credits include VINTAGE
'60, FROM A to Z and MOLLY. Additional
musicals with composer Roger Anderson include LADYKILLER, A MUSICAL NOIR
and QUALITY STREET (based on J. M. Barrie's play). |

ROGER
ANDERSON (Music) is the composer of
SHINE!,
which received a full production and critical
praise as part of
The 2010 New York Musical Theatre Festival. In
2009 The Muddy River Opera Company premiered
ABE,
commissioned in celebration of the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial.
Both musicals are fully orchestrated and licensed by Samuel French
Publishing. Along with other musicals, he has designed sound
and written
incidental music for several Off-Off-Broadway plays,
including OF LIVES AND LEAVES, ANDREW
REACHES THE OTHER SIDE, WE WERE THERE, TWO SPOONS and
currently ACCIDENTALLY, LIKE A MARTYR (www.othersideproductions.org). A
native of Louisiana, he has lived in New York
City since arriving as a music
student in the 1970s.
